Please ask any questions you have here, and I or one of the other travelers, likely Charlie, will do our best to answer them.

Andy, do you mean the events in Algeria and Malawi...?
If so, the Algerian event was more that 1200 miles from Morocco itself across some of the worst terrain the Sahara has to offer, and whilst Morocco is a Muslim nations, and thus it's culture shout be respected by all visitors, from my experience of Morocco and Moroccans, they would tolerate the extremists no more that the UK, France or any other civilised nation. They are a religious bunch, more so outside the cities, but to to their detriment.
Of course we need to be mindful of events and we should all make decisions based on our personal feelings about the situation there, but in reality I do not see, at this stage, any cause for undue concern, only a mindful eye, on the surrounding situations.
Obviously if the Yanks decide to start bombing everyone that could change in a heatbeat, but I don't think they are planning that or are actually looking for that level of involvement, the African nations are up to speed on the problem and actively seeking Logistical, training and Intelligence gathering support from the West, nothing more.

If the worst happens and we decide nearer the time that Morocco could be too dangerous, which I think is highly unlikely in such a short period of time, we still have The Pyrenees and the rest of Spain to explore, but realistically I don't see a problem at this stage.
