Ok, so we are collecting members here, I thought it time we had a little sticky for Hello's from members where we can mention a bit about ourselves.

I am 46, own a Land Rover Discovery that I refuse to name because it is a ruddy machine and not a person or living creature. This is my 3rd Discovery and 5th Land Rover.

I once owned a Series 3 Safari V8, but that didn't last long as I was young and needed to get to places, so after 6 months I sold it and bought a Audi 100 Quattro!!

I owned a 1990 200TDi for about 4 years and this was replaced with a 1994 300TDi that I bought in 2002 and this lasted up to 2010. The current ride was bought in 2010 when my Volvo T5 was written off by a twat on the wrong side of the road..

I owned the 300TDi on it's own until August 2011 when I bought a 2004 Range Rover Vogue...I sold that a few weeks back because I didn't drive it anymore because of the cost..a 4.6V8 tends to not be the most economical engine..as gorgeous as it sounds!!

I am an Electrical Engineer and I have two beautiful kids (Lucy and Max) and both love Land Rovers. I work shifts and also have a little company of my own...

I have been into Astronomy for the best part of 40 years and own three Telescopes and several pairs of Binoculars. I am hoping to buy a Skywatcher 400mm (16") Dobsonian.

I have been to Morocco numerous times, but not since 2007 and never with a Telescope, so the idea of getting up above 3000m with some decent scopes to enjoy the beautiful and glorious light pollution free skies is too great to pass over...
